I'm a middle-aged white male that likes Hip Hop. Is it racist for me to sing/rap the N-word with the music?

If it's part of the lyrics,there's nothing wrong with it. All kinds of people listen to rap/hip-hop not only blacks. If the artists have a problem with other races saying the n-word,even if it's part of the song, then they should stop putting it in the lyrics. Surely we can't be expected to sing every other word but THAT word. It's part of the song, so no harm done.
