I recently installed some paver stones in my front yard to make a patio.?

After sweeping the polymeric sand into the joints and watering in, there was a white staining on the pavers. I ordered some efflorescence cleaner which i sprayed on there today. the manufacturers said not to spray off when done, just to let dry. That was about 6 hours ago, and it dried kinda splotchy. Will it be safe to spray the stones off tomorrow morning?
