Can a hard rain cause a circuit breaker to trip?

Had a strong rain come through last night, and tripped the breaker that controls master bath, bedroom tv, outlets in guest bath, and outdoor patio outlets. I tried to reset the breaker, but it keeps popping back into the "trip" in the middle. I've unplugged everything and can't find anything faulty that would cause it to trip. So my best guess is that the driving rain got into one of the outdoor outlets. Any suggestions, or more importantly what I can do to fix it? Is this something where the moisture will just dry up?
